While everyone appreciates detailed descriptions of your products, do your best to keep it to 200 words. Experts believe this is the sweet spot. And while copy that’s a joy to read is ideal, make sure it also provides essential information like the product size, its shipping weight, relevant materials, etc.
A picture is worth a thousand words, so it provides a great option for making up any ground you may feel you lost due to the 200-word limit. Yours need to be the highest quality you can afford and your customers should be able to enlarge them for a better view without them suffering from diminished quality.
Many companies make good money by including a sign-up form of some sort on their ecommerce website and then contacting customers in the future with special offers, items relevant to them, information about upcoming sales and more.
