I’m starting to feel like an Amazon sales rep, with all of the articles I’ve written about the company in the past month. But in reality, it’s simply an indicator just how much the ecommerce giant is pushing itself to the forefront of consumer news. Just yesterday, the company announced yet another new service improvement…and here I am beginning another Amazon post – again. If the big guys in the A-Towers are reading, a bit of commission wouldn’t go amiss lads… (hint, hint!)
Anyway, back to the awesomeness of Amazon.
The Amazon Prime Now service has now been launched in NYC, with instant delivery options between 6am and midnight. The 1 hour delivery service will cost you a hefty $7.99, but there is a free 2 hour delivery option available too!
The option is available only to Amazon Prime members and it covers more than 25,000 items at present. So in case you’re wondering, it probably covers those boots you’ve been eyeing up for about 4 weeks….if you want to be your own Secret Santa this year!
The lovely peeps at Amazon have created this visual demo for you to demonstrate the service, check it out!

Also in the name of impartiality, Google also offer a one day express delivery service for local stores in select areas (not quite the same thing though, is it).
